Death before Songkran

A 32 year old Thai man was speeding on his motorbike to go see his girlfriend on 12th April, but when reaching a sharp curve in Soi Khaotalo, he did not slow down, and his bike slid to hit an electric post causing his death.

At the scene the team found a crushed Honda Wave at the side of the road and nearby was the body of Mr. Winai, aged 32, a construction worker.

His employer Mrs. Phenkhem came to the scene and explained that the man had been drinking at her house with other workers. He borrowed her motorbike to pick up his girlfriend but 30 minutes later someone called her to say that he had crashed.

The man’s body was taken to Banglamung Hospital and further religious proceedings will be made by his relatives and friends.
