I am currently on a marriage Visa extension, however to avoid two trips to immigration and the government office to revalidate my marriage certificate I want to change to a retirement visa. Firstly will be any problem. I have 800 K in my bank account. But it's only been there for two months. Does it need to be three months under the these circumstances. I am living in my wife's house do I need to give them proof of that?

Just change the reason of extension from marriage to retirement.

Money in the bank for two months.

Is it definitely only two months? previous;y I had to have the money in the bank for three months? (I was on retirement extensions prior to changing to a marriage extension last year)

It was changed to 2 months on March 1st of last year when a amendment to the police order went into effect.

That change included keeping 800k baht in the bank for 3 months after the day you apply and then 400k baht until you top up your account for the next extension.
