April 23, 20206 yr Does anyone have a map or list of the updated Pattaya checkpoint / roadblock locations? I can only find the original map, before they changed the checkpoints. Thanks in advance
April 23, 20206 yr MPORTANT: The Governor of Chonburi has just signed this order to suspend the lockdown of Pattaya from 1st May onwards #COVID19 #โควิด19 #Thailand
April 23, 20206 yr In generic terms, they are all located sukhumvit road, leading from major arteries.
April 23, 20206 yr Check my post in another thread in this forum. It has diagrams of 7 of the checkpoints as well as a "master" diagram. Note that Checkpoint 8 (the one furthest South) was moved to the Soi Chaiyapruek intersection. The city didn't make a new diagram or update the "master" diagram so I didn't put it in the post.https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1160916-best-route-to-bangkok-hospital-pattaya-from-darkside/?do=findComment&comment=15328621

The Bangkok Post posed a list of supposed checkpoints, after the governor's revision, but I have seen at least one checkpoint that is not on that list @ Sukhumvit and Chaiyapruek 2 Rd. *Kerryd beat me to it. That doesn't really seal off the city, does it?

They've blocked those routes with cement barricades as confirmed by a couple of members who drove down there a couple days ago.https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1159893-roadblock-watch/?do=findComment&comment=15318133 Edited April 23, 20206 yr by Kerryd

April 24, 20206 yr The checkpoints don't appear to be checking any reason for entering the controlled area, just a temperature check followed by an ID check, so enter and leave at your own free will.
