Life economics force us 2 adults and 1 child to move to a 1 room studio

Featured Replies

Life economics force us 2 adults and 1 child to move to a rented 1 room studio.

As we have to move soon and report to this to immigration and extension is also soon,
can they have any objection that we (2 adults + 1 child) will have to live in a tiny one room studio ?

Just wondering if this can affect my visa.

I still have the 400k in the bank and some savings, but cannot afford the rent for our current rented 2 bedroom condo anymore

any feedback is welcome

Where you live and size of accommodation is not an issue.

Don't really understand your post.

BTW most likely you don't have a visa.

You have permission of stay based on what?

Marriage etc

First of all, my sympathies. I'm sorry to read that you're such difficult circumstances.

Generally immigration are only interested in three things. Are your genuinely married and living together as such? Are you living where you claim to be? And can you meet the financial requirements?

Where you live and how you live is not really their concern. Your circumstances may have them raise and eyebrow or two, but they are not a welfare organisation, so do not worry about that.

Good luck to you and hope things will improve for you in the future.
