Muang Thong Thani - Extension under review

The July 31 automatic extension legislation was completed on Friday. Last week several people were experiencing issues when returning to get the 'permission to stay' stamp, having previously gotten 'under consideration'.

So, anyone today had first hand experience at Changwattana with the 'under consideration' stamp from the temporary Immigration at Muang Thong Thani (visa exempt entry).

Last week the prevailing wisdom was it was necessary to return and get the full stamp, and one didn't necessarily have to wait for the date as advised on the stamp (mine is April 30).
