Could someone please advise me if I read the visa info for an Australian correctly. I am already in Chiang Mai & didn't do a 60day visa thing before I left. I am here for 5weeks maybe a week more. As an Australian with both AUS & UK passport...I get that we get 30day stamp on arrival & can only have 3 x 30 days within 6 months. Are they talking about doing this back to back like continuous? - which I am not. Am I correct below:I have been 1 night BKK (6th April) & then exited for Malaysia - (one 30days), then back to Thailand in Chiang Mai now (2nd 30days stamp).....Question is if I do the visa run to what I have read - Myanmar or Mae Sae a week before it expires....this will be the last '30 day' stamped on my Ozzie passport??......After 5-6wks in Chiang Mai (massage course), I go to UK & back through Thailand on the way home - as this is within 6 months - will I be able to stay a few days as it will be the 4th 30 day stamp in 6months??? or have I got it totally wrong? Will it be totally different if when returning to OZ I enter thailand from the UK on uk passport. Is there another option I can do?..Thanks again in advance - i know visa questions aren't much fun! The rule is the amount of days you actually stay in Thailand , not the number of stamps.

So you can stay a total of 90 days in a 180 day period.

As the immigration officials are struggling to understand this rule I will let better mathematicians than me work it out for you.

Charlotte, I don't know exactly, but you could exit Thailand on the passport you were stamped in on. Then on your return from the UK, use your other passport. Alternate them as you can. Nobody knows for sure; each immigration officer is a law unto himself or herself.

Wrong! In a six month period.
