One The worlds biggest Earhquake has just occured in Russia's eastern coast the quake registered 8.8 triggering a Tsunami. Evacuations have started in japan, Hawaii, and the US coast. The wave is going to hit Hawaii soon. The quake is the same size that hit Thailand on Boxing Day 2004 killing thousands.

Incorrect on every possible end. First of all the magnitude of boxing day was 9.1-9.4 aside from 10-30 meter waves and not 1-3 meter waves. The boxing day one also was a vertical rupture of 1300km long while the one of yesterday was just horizontal and minimal.
