Can a teaching licence still be used as an alternative to a bachelor's degree in Non-B visa application? This was the case several years ago in my last teaching job but according to my agency, who inquired at CW yesterday, now both a teaching licence and a verified degree are required. (I do have a degree but want to avoid the cost and hassle of getting it verified). Can anyone confirm this?

Firstly, Immigration does not issue Non-B Visas so one must ask a Royal Thailand Consulate what is required. The Consulate in USA DC states  Evidence of educational qualification such as a copy of diplomas /teaching certification or copies of transcript. From my experience a copy of my transcript certified by the University was required. Consulates in other countries may have different criteria.

My error, so that means the OP must meet CW requirements for degree I would guess.

It would be the same at every immigration office when the application is done. They would require a degree that has be been certified.
