I crossed into Thailand on 18 March visa-exempt. 

 

I already qualified for the automatic extension until 30 April. 

 

I also qualify for the recently updated automatic extension until 31 July, correct?

Yes.

    You should have been permitted to stay until 16th April, so your automatically now permitted to stay until 31st July, or any other further announced date.

    When the amnesty ends you can still apply for a further 30 day extension.
