Anybody know if there are any restrictions on driving from Pattaya to Pak Chong?

In Pak Chong now (Mu Si), loads of Bangkok registrations here and people booking in and out of our hotel.

Minibuses leaving daily from Pattaya to Bangkok.

On April 13 my wife drove me to Suvarnabhumi airport via Rt. 2 Mittrapat, then Rt. 1 at Saraburi and outer ring road to an airport hotel on King Kheaw Road. We started at 0900 and she started the return around 1300. No checkpoints, light traffic and a nice trouble free ride. I doubt it has become more strict since then. Usually the authorities get bored as time goes by so I would not worry. Rumor had it that there were check points on Rt 304.

Just been from Chaiyaphum to Pattaya 4 road blocks but none manned. Return 2 days later and no road blocks, traffic normal. Dates, left 30th April return 2nd May. Route, 331, 304, 24.
