What to do after 60 day extension? Multi Entry Non Imm O Marriage

Featured Replies

Hi forum experts,

I have a Multi Entry Non-immigrant O visa by Marriage that expires mid August.

I recently extended my 90 days that ended April 30 to June 30 (60 days extension).

What are my options come June 30?

In the past I did border runs for another 90 days but I fear this will be difficult due to coronavirus restrictions.

What else can I do?

wait ans see what develops, if borders not open then i would think the emergency auto extensions would be extended, you would have been better taking the auto virus extension and saving the 60 day extension.

You can stay until July 3st under the ministerial notice. No need to do anything at immigration.

That auto-extension provision covers all visas/visa exempts then?

You got a link to that tv article?

Yes it does.

There have been several since the 8th this month.

The lastest infographic posted by immigration makes it clearer since it says temporary stays instead of only visas.

Really, you do not have internet if you do not even know that you can stay until JULY 31st without extension ?

Yes. And  you,  like I , already have used the 60 day extension so indeed what to do after the amnesty ends. Let's hope the Thais have the sense to wait to end it until land borders are open both sides with no unusual / impossible Covid related restrictions and flights are operating in and out also without unusual/ impossible Covid restrictions. Am I expecting too much?
