The actor, who had a long career in Bollywood, counted the 2015 movie among his many credits, playing the role of Simon Masrani. Taking to Twitter, Trevorrow posted a picture of Khan laughing as he recalled the last conversation he had with the actor before he passed away. "Deeply sad to have lost #IrrfanKhan," he wrote. "A thoughtful man who found beauty in the world around him, even in pain. In our last correspondence, he asked me to remember 'the wonderful aspects of our existence' in the darkest of days.
