Lazada app for android - English not Thai?

Featured Replies

Is there an English version?

Google Play Store results:

Lazada app English version

Lazada Thailand English version

Lazada Thailand English

It doesn't matter which one you click (I've been through them all) they all download the Thai version.

There is nowhere in that Thai version that says "English" in order to change the language

I can't even see in Thai a link that says change language.

Are Lazada lying, incompetent or something else?

Googling "change language lazada thailand android app" tells you to click at the top right to change the app language. I'm assuming whoever wrote that meant it for a PC, as that is correct. It doesn't work for Android.

Even youtube shows you a Lazada app in English - but not how to get the language from Thai to English!

Click on the wheel if you see it.

Can choose between thai and english

Show a thai person this app and ask 'pasa angrit u nai' (where is english)

On my Android I don't have "Account Information"

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro

I have General Management>Language and input>Language>English, Thai

I need to keep the Thai.

Is there some way within the app to select English?

Yes. My app came new installed with thai. I can't remember what I clicked on to change to english. See new image attached, this is from inside Lazada app. No need to change language in phone settings. Ask a thai to help you.

OK that's good, but how do I get to that screen above from starting the app in Thai?

This is what I see:

For me to answer that, I must uninstall my own app. Sorry.

Easier if you:

Download app + ask a thai where is English language.

Can you take a screenshot of your new installed Lazada app and post it here?

I've just found it!

The very bottom right of the page - looks like a smiley face (Account)>then, at the very top right  corner is a settings wheel>click that and you'll see it says "Language"

Select English, then click the right hand icon - "Apply"

Thanks for the replies.

Actually at that point when you have selected "English" (written in English), the right hand icon is in Thai (I wrote "Apply" to explain what it was for).

When you click it, the App restarts in English.

So yes, got it sorted thanks and require no more psychiatric assistance for now.

You'd probably have to go and see one of those trickcyclists about that sort of thing ..

Changing main language easy but many products don't show full details in English. Copy paste those details to translate to get an idea.

I'm not saying I'm bored, but here's the four steps to change the Lazada Android App from default Thai to English:

Step 4 - don't forget to press "English" before clicking on "Apply"!
