Farma
Grows easy. We grow ours in potting mix outside. No bug issues.

I've read that it needs a spell of cold weather - comparable to a temperate zone's frost - for the root to develop its flavor. Has that been your experience? I do have one growing. It's from a root I bought at the supermarket. Wondering if at some point I should uproot the roots and put them for a spell in the fridge packed in moist sand to simulate at least a cold season if not frost. Farma
No problems growing it and tastes like horseradish. There's heat and flavour in them. We grow it next to some sunflowers in direct sunlight and didn't need a cold spell. The seeds were from Europe but you can find them in the farm supply seed racks.
