Work permit renewal

Hi this will be my first work permit renewal,,when do you usually apply ..1 month before expiry??

would appreciate it if anyone has a list of what is required and a link to application form ,used an agent to get original work permit but want to do renewal ourselves,work permit is for hotel management and company director is good friend of mine.

Yes I did actually find that topic but it doesn’t really have the information I want apart from you can apply a couple off weeks before expiry,,,,is also related to teaching ,so no information on documents required for myself as I am not a teacher.

Just renewed mine in Jan. 

Quite a few documents to submit, almost same like new application. 

Agent did the renew for me, no need to go personally.

If you want to save yourself around 10000 bht defiantly worth to go yourself ,think we just head to labour office and get information direct from them....seems the easiest way.

have also heard you can get 2 year work permit ,do you have to specifically ask apply for this?????

again if no one knows will enquire labour office and report back here.????

Understand on the saving, for my case my company sponsored it.

Never heard about the 2 years WP, may check with the agent before next renew.

 

Tracked back the email from agent requested documents before renew (just for reference).

List of the required documents of the company: (all need to sign by company representative and company stamp)
1. Copy of Affidavit (not longer than 6 months)
2. Copy of Shareholder list (not longer than 6 months)
3. Copy of the latest audited balance sheet
4. Copy of passport and work permit or Thai ID Card of company’s director
5. Copy of three latest monthly VAT (Phor.Por.30) (Oct 2019 – Dec 2019) with receipts
6. Copy of three latest monthly Social Security contributions return (Form Sor.Por.Sor.1-10) (Oct - Dec 2019) with receipts.
7. Copy of latest monthly personal income tax (PND.1) of all employees (Dec 2019) with receipt.

The required documents of applicant:
1. Original passport.
2. Original work permit
3. Original Medical certificate issued by a doctor in Thailand (not exceeding 1 month after the issuance date)
Note: Please inform the doctor that the purpose of obtain the medical certificate is for apply a work permit.
4. Copy of annual personal income tax of the applicant (PND 91) if any
