I have a friend that lives in the same area like me. As me he also base his visa and stay in Thailand on Non-0 approved for having a Thai child. In this case a son.

However, he have chosen to make extension 60 days after every 90 days and then go to Mukdahan again for a new Non-0 every time instead of extending 1 year at the time.

The 28th of Februari he came back from Mukdahan the last time, and a now normally due the 27 of May to make his 60 day extension at the local Immigration Office.

Now when there is an automatic emergency extension in place, he have asked me if he need to do the extension for 60 days now or if he should wait and do that one when the automatic extension ends? (If it will end as stated).

I have disconnected from this and do not think about it, due to that I am om 1 year extension. Can someone give me information about what I should say to him and what he should do? Maybe he need to visit Immigration? Maybe he is not included in the automatic extension, or are everybody included? Does he need to visit? Does he need any documents to show?

No need to apply for the 60 day extension to visit his child now. He can apply for it near to July 31st when the amnesty ends.

Does that mean he can just sit home and drink beer and play with his son? Not a good combo, I know. ????

Anyway, does that mean he do not have to visit or show up at Immigration until, let´s say 29 of July?
