Which brand of chicken breasts are good?

Featured Replies

I picked up a few chicken breasts from Big C, packaged in their own brand package.

They were large with white lines running across them.

They were like munching into a steroid pill. Hard to the point of almost being crunchy. Disgusting.

I see brands such a Betagro and others. Does anybody have a preferable brand, where the breasts aren't 90% steroid?

Look that they haven't been frozen before. A bad sign is liquid in the tray.

Not sure if Thailand a free range chickens on sale, otherwise they're all the same battery hens for meat purposes and all are full of antibiotics and stuff to keep them healthy and plump...

Ok, thanks.

Are there any national supermarkets or stores that stock free-range chicken breasts?

(I know this may open a can of worms, but...) What's wrong with the local market?

Steroids are preferable to dysentery.
