"Your Bank Despises You." (essay by Dr. Vernon Coleman)
@Red Phoenix - Thank you for that post. This question: Is there any way to mostly avoid the banking system? To keep money out of their clutches -- and move it in to a bank only as needed? -

SSD. No idea how the mark got there, no one else has any access to my computer. It was the man in the local computer shop who pointed it out to me. -

Will California fry completely pollute our world?
What you are referring to is NOT a question. No, we linguists refer to this as something called....UP-TALK. UpTalk has also driven me fairly crazy, during the past decade....(why do you think that I am as crazy as I am, these days?) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_rising_terminal Uptalk has become very prevalent, especially in places like Oregon, California, Seattle, and APPLE COMPUTER COMPANY....for over a decade. Drives me CRAZY..... ======= Still, I do not mind UPTALK when it happens with a very sexy young thing........ -

2025 stock favorites
While you are living in a property you own, if it is appreciating, you are realizing an eventual profit on your original investment, even if you have not yet sold it. So, you are making money for yourself keeping a roof over your head, even if you haven't cashed in yet. I've owned about 30 properties, both here and in the US, and every one of them increased in value--the last US one I mentioned took a couple of years. Other than making them attractive, I didn't do anything special. Real estate appreciates. While I was living in each of them, I was earning money as they appreciated, rather than a landlord earning money if I rented, instead. When you sell, you aren't necessarily always buying back into the 'same market'. In some cases, people are making a change to a different city, state, or country. But, in any case, buying back into the same market has not been a problem for me--either in the US or here. -

Yes, by all means. Copy and paste You Tube Thai contributions with AI translations. You stepping outside your house, mixing and mingling with Thais, possibly in the deepest of the Isan? Come on, it's not you. Too late to re-invent yourself. -

Higher-resolution dental imaging available here in Thailand? Advantages for patient?
For some time now, I have been a bit concerned about the relatively-older CAT Scanning equipment used by my dentist. Imaging technology progresses very quickly. And, not all dental practices are able to keep abreast of the newest costly imaging technology. Therefore, is there at least one company/hospital which might offer the newest and highest resolution tech in a major city in Thailand, such as BKK or CM? If so, what might be the advantages of going to such a company to have CAT Scans done out of house, by one imaging lab? Here is some info from Nature, concerning newer imaging technology: Here is why I ask this question: We all know that physicians are UNABLE to treat what they cannot see. Therefore, better imaging might lead to better treatment. I question whether or not my clinician has the money to spend on the best imaging equipment. And so, where can I go to get the best scans, here in Thailand, not just in BKK, but also in CM.... Any views? Tks. Gamma -
