What to wear for entrance exam (child) in government school ?

School uniform from previous school is expected. Been there with my daughter.  

Yup Thailand is a country of uniforms. Your prodigy shoul wear a uniform to anything official. It demonstrates compliance which is important ????

I had to give a cursory English speaking exam to students applying to the school.   They were always wearing a school uniform.   We occasionally had students who had attended school overseas and did not wear a school uniform, but it was very rare.   In those rare cases, dress very smart casual.   No jeans and no shorts, unless it is a young child, then shorts are acceptable.  

 

Parents who are accompanying a child should also dress nicely.   I heard more comments from the Thai side about the parents than about the children.
