Yes there are many "scams" on Facebbok. Almost all are linked back to Russia, China or iran. Common scams  relate to downplaying Covid19 or planting false information. BTW, in case you didn't kno

Maybe he does. Maybe he doesn't.

But I have no problem listening or reading comments from right, left or center views. I will then make my own mind up which are clowns and which aren't.

I do have a problem with any one, including an organization's paid employees, censoring or dictating to me what I can and can't read. This is imposing their opinion and judgement which I may or may not agree with. But I should be free to chose. Not have the choice made for me.

Opinions are like blurters, we've all got one!

Regardless of ones political views I would have thought a media company censoring the US President would be ringing alarm bells. Say a Democrat is next elected, should they also be censored? If employees object, then let them quit. If they dislike Trump then go on media and say why, that is how they should express their opinion.

I read left and right as I want to see divergent views, and I take away from both. However I don't hate those that disagree with me, I have been wrong in the past and no doubt will be in the future. Ones opinion is just what they currently think based on life circumstances, their past and what they read or listen to, it shouldn't be etched in stone. The whole left-right seems suspiciously like divide and conquer to me, the real enemy lies in the shadows and laughs at both.

Threatening violence against rioters may restore 'order' but it doesn't solve the cause of the problem. The cause is probably indicated in this little statistic -

UK  - people killed by police in last decade - 20

USA - people killed by police in last decade - 10,000 (approx.)

Even allowing for the different population sizes, it still means US police kill 100 times as many people as in the UK. I wonder why the relatives of these casualties are upset? Of course, most them have a certain skin colour, which makes them more likely to end up dead. The USA is probably closer to civil war than at any time in the last 50 years. Another presidential achievement!

Nobody is accountable for voicing an opinion, all the media is accountable to the constitution, or should be:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

No, the media are not accountable to the Constitution. It (and the passage you quote) apply only to the federal government. Last time I checked, Twitter and Facebook were private companies, and the Constitution does not constrain them, although it does afford them certain rights and protections.

The purpose of the Constitution is to delineate the national frame of government and the various amendments are mostly to guarantee certain rights and protections to citizens.

You mean because that's what you label things you don't like? So therefore, they have to be censored?

Well maybe the liars in Congress, who have been lying through their teeth, should be censored too?

You need a new dictionary, you may be able to spell "censor" but you don't seem to grasp the meaning of the word. Poor attempt at deflecting from Trump, too. He quite probably lies more than everyone in Congress combined.

Adding a notation is not censorship. The best solution would simply be for the president to stop lying.

Sounds like it's a prerequisite that you're a democrat when you get a job at facebook and they all hate Trump.

I doubt this will go over very well with the shareholders. Facebook is not supposed to be a political institution, it's supposed to be neutral.

Twitter have big problems coming their way if the neutrality is removed.

A self professed stable genius that never pass junior school has an iQ so low he will not tell anyone and actually pays to hide his school results has no ability to articulate himself in words of more than one syllable. Is highlighted by his tweets and Facebook rantings littered with spelling and grammatical errors .

Had someone else write his biography "The art of the deal". and each day shows he has no negotiating ability what so ever. Always enters into a win/ lose relationship never a win/win. Pity the people of the USA. I prayer come November he will not cheat again and gets what he deserves the wroth of the people and the the orange suit he earned.

If they're editing some of the content on the website then they're responsible for what's on it - all of it, every single post by every person doing the posting.

This is why platforms remain neutral. Because once you start editing what you publish it becomes published by the company and not the poster, this allows people to sue the company opening up massive liability issues.

Or reading your post? The left, center and right. All demand unlimited freedom to bang the agenda drum. That is, unless that freedom allows others to tread on their feet. Then the screams begin.

Twitter should be praised for finally taking a stand and labeling absolute fiction as such. Facebook should do the same. Considering the great degree of misuse the platform has been subjected to, it needs to be policed and it needs to be censored for fake news, scams and sheer fiction by malicious players. Yet, Zuckerberg is showing himself to either be a major coward, morally and ethically bankrupt, totally indifferent or unwilling to give up some profits. One thing is for sure. His motives are not based on altruism.

These employees are anything other than objective intellectuals, or educated technicians focused on honest work ethics.  Just look at this garbage:  "Facebook's recent decision to not act on posts that incite violence ignores other options to keep our community safe..."

These are the same type of socialist leftist fools who think looters and violent rioters are engaging in "demonstrations" for a valid cause.

The actual full statements made by President Trump are seldom if ever reported in their entirety.  Just go back to his initial speech in 2016 where he spoke about criminals crossing America's porous southern border and the need for a wall.  The mass media edited his actual statements and speech to enable them to say lies about the President's remarks on Mexicans.

Snippets, and carefully edited pieces are offered to the masses to enable those with an agenda to blame the President for all things wrong.

In short order he will be publicly indicted in most biased circles as being the one who caused the riots and mass destruction in America.

More discussion with more people means getting more information. What you choose to do with that is your choice. I reject the idea of some left wing fascist deciding what I am able to read or discuss.

The quicker Trump changes Facebook and Twitter, that only allow one side to speak freely, to publisher status rather than forum status and make them responsible for the drivel that ends up on their feeds the better. Bring on the lawsuits!

It is a private company, not part of public broadcasting it is private money not government funded.

Where you truly believe the "owners" are "left wing fascist" (?oxymoron") or not. In a democracy all points of view even one we may disagree with should be heard.

Closing open debate as you seem to want stifles debate, you also need to listen to others points of view, become informed. Fascist burned books, closed libraries, and stifled freedom speech, which you are advocating. ??Fascist?? careful about throwing labels around.

With the right of freedom of speech comes a responsibility of truth and fact,  Please let POTUS know that small detail.

Not long ago we were supposed to be concerned about government control and restraints on the internet. I guess it is all about who gets to do the control & restraint.

Twitter and Facebook have both now nailed they're colours to the mast.  Profit driven proponents of free speech for all.  Unless you are President Trump of course, in which case their overly heightened senses of self righteousness and outrage are far more important, and he must be de-platformed at any cost.   Cannot remember any political party being such sore losers as the American left.

No, they're not. This is the same type of right wing drivel claiming anyone who's appalled at the Floyd killing and supportive of peaceful demonstrations also support the fringe element criminals who loot and burn.

To put it very politely, that's a disingenuous claim.

There is no ‘right to free speech’ on a privately owned platform.

I love Americans.

When they argue, someone always brings a graph that they found on the Internet.

Where was your outrage?

Yes. They "fact checked" Trump's statement using CNN as the definitive credible source. 'nuff said.

Do you consider Trump a credible source?  Like you say, 'nuff said.
