Ferry Times For Koh Phi Phi In Low Season

Featured Replies

Does anyone know or know where I can find, a ferry time table for Koh phi phi in July (low season)?

Can you go to and from both Phuket and krabi town? If so how long is each way?

Thanks!

Why would you ever want to leave PhiPhi :o

If you check the 6th column on the first link the PhiPhi departure times are listed :D

Go to Phi Phi at low tide.................... Im sure it must be better at low tide, we went at high tide and it sucked (for taking pics that is)

Phi Phi? My God what a pit! Was just there on Saturday and had planned to spend 3 days there with friends and family. I had been there once before pre Tsunami and enjoyed it. It now smells like an open sewer and looks like a shanty town. The smell was so bad of obvious human waste that no matter where we ate we could smell it. The island is dirty and makes Patong Beach look like the Maldives. I would rather vacation in Pattaya. Save your money and stay on Phuket or one of the other islands or even Krabi. If I'm wrong people let me know! Maybe I missed something. We left quickly the next morning to head back to Phuket.

If you would rather spend your time in Pattaya than Phi Phi i think that smell must have seriously affected your senses :o

Phi Phi is paradise although looks like it might be worth waiting until the sewage problems are sorted before you pay a visit !

I was there a year ago and it was fine to me. No bad smell, no dead bodies in the water and it was beautiful! The only problem was that it was high tide and the beach area was quite small in the actual Maya Bay area.

Cleggit - I agree with you. I would not rater spend my vacation in Pattaya. I was comparing one horrible destination (Pattaya) with another (Phi Phi). Phi Phi was paradise! But honestly the smell was foul on Phi Phi. I was very saddened and shocked by the way it looked. Piles of garbage everywhere. The smell of human waste since the restaurants don't have septic tanks. The shopping area and restaurants looked like some makeshift slum. I would rather spend my money and time elsewhere. As you know their are many beautiful islands in the area and my suggestion is to find one. Of course the original poster may like this atmosphere and to each his own...right? I personally don't like Khao San Road but know many people who go every weekend.
