Fly Bangkok To Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Wife and I are ready to make the move up to Chiang Mai soon.  We want to fly from Bangkok up to Chaing Mai next week to check out some rental properties.  I know Chiang Mai was doing mandatory 14 day quarantine last month.

Anyone can confirm that it's all clear now to travel domestically on flights?  I know car is ok we just did a trip out to Issan and back this past week no issues.

Thanks in advance.

No one fly into CM recently?

I heard that one has to be at airport 3 hours prior to fly out, does anybody knows if that's the case for domestic flights.

i flew from bkk to chiang mai 2 days ago, first you dont have to be at the airport 3 hours before i was there 1.5 hours before and that was enough.

at bkk airport you have to fill out 2 forms and take with you to chiang mai and have to scan the airport app.

at chiang mai airport there are immigration people checking foreigners, they take the forms ask questions where you will stay and check your visa. I was ok because my thai friend came to pick me up. i dont know about staying in a hotel but i heard that if the hotel picks you up its ok.
