Fishing crews in all 22 coastal provinces of Thailand are being screened for Covid-19 whenever they enter or leave port.

Staff from the Department of Employment (DOE) are monitoring their symptoms under the supervision of 30 Port In-Port Out Controlling Centres around the country.

Suchat Pornchaiwiseskul, the department's director-general, said that the move was aimed to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and encourage workers to follow disease control guidelines.

"The staff screen workers before checking that foreign workers' have work permits," said Suchat, adding that so far no cases of undocumented or infected fishing crew had been discovered by DOE staff.

Okay...all very funny, but this is exactly the BS, that makes people believe, that Thaiiland has actually only 50 deaths from COVID!

The headline says "tests negative" and the article says "screening"!

Those are not the same things- not by a mile!
