eastcst84
Hello, I am a US citizen who has been in Vietnam for over a year (I have a 5 year visa exemption) as I am a overseas Viet and also married to a Thai national. I travelled to Malaysia and Singapore before the virus outbreak but have not been in the US since last April as y passport clearly states. I have two questions pertaining to applying for my marriage visa to a Thai national once borders open, possibly for Vietnam in particular. 1) Is a scanned copy via email that my wife sent me of the needed signed documents by her for my first marriage visa sufficient or does she need to send me the real copies with wet signature? 2) Any idea if my holding a US passport will be an issue? I will head into the Thai embassy in HCMC to ask about this but figured I'd ask here since some of you seem knowledgeable. Thanks in advance. ubonjoe
1. The copies must have a original signature on them. I suggest you have her mail them to you. 2. No
