Expired work permit

Featured Replies

My work permit expired just when I resigned from my job in Thailand last year. I then went to my home country without turning over my expired work permit to my employer or the Ministry of Labor since I thought it's expired anyway and I didn't have much time to do it as I was so busy prepping to go home. Now I'm planning to go back to Thailand for work with a new employer after this whole COVID-19 crisis is over. Will I have trouble getting a new work permit since I have an old one (but expired and not surrendered, I still have it) or I'll just have to process a new one with my new employer without complications at all? Thanks!

I had the same situation (although didn't go overseas, just stayed home in Thailand). Anyway just processed a new one with new employer..no questions asked by the company or One stop.
