I don´t care because everybody is better than Craig.

Not a real Bond fan then. With the possible exception of Dalton, he is the embodiment of James Bond as Fleming would have it. Ruthless and sharp. Brilliant actor, Casino Royale awesome. Typically not the cup of tea of some of the diehard oldies out there, however, who can't get past Connery and, gawd forbid, Moore.

In a way it doesn't really matter. Craig was such an abysmal Bond he's ruined the franchise single handedly. Which was already a tired franchise far too long in the tooth.

Seems most people don't agree with you

The UK’s favourite Bond is Connery with 38% of the vote, followed by Craig on 26.6%.

A drop further down and its Moore in third place at 17.6% and Brosnan on 12.3%.

The bottom two, Dalton and Lazenby, only achieved 2.9% and 2.6% – but that’s hardly surprising seeing as they made only three Bond films between them.

Only a 2000 sample. Way too small.

It doesn't matter anyway, Craig was a terrible Bond. Wooden, no chemistry with the leading ladies, but of course he was given politically correct scripts that had next to nothing to do with Fleming's Bond. But as a Bond himself Craig was utterly devoid of charm. James Bond movies lived off their charm. Craig had the charm of a brick thrown against a cement wall.

From a single parent family, originally from a war torn country, who traveled across many oceans, and settled in the UK.

If he was married with kids ( a boy, a girl, and 'another') then that would be just perfect.

Politically correct BS. Pick a white British man, who is handsome and a bit of a decent actor. End of.

Bond is half Swiss. Do they not have a shot?

I hope they put a woman in and then I won't mind never seeing another in what remains of my life.

He's also Scottish, so there are a number of good Scottish actors out there that could fill the role. Dougray Scott, Ewan McGregor and Gerard Butler would be some good choices, especially Butler.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, Never Butler. He was lead in Hunter Killer and the "has fallen' movies. He'd be another Dalton or Lazenby, IMO.

No way he was the best by far IMHO.  Tired old franchise and he brought it back to life you could not pay me to watch Roger.
