A Bangkok-based caterer is turning the Covid-19 crisis into an opportunity by launching a safe and tasty service for the “new normal” era.

NCC Catering has vowed to maintain the gourmet standards for which it is famous while offering discreet anti-virus measures including temperature checks, PPE for all staff, hand sanitiser points, physical distancing and frequent sanitising of all surfaces.

All dishes are created by NCC’s central kitchen, certified by the Good Manufacturing Practice in Mass Catering and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, said the firm. Each culinary tool is cleaned and sterilised after use, and temperature controls are applied to maintain clean and safe food.

NCC also uses professional nutritionists to create menus designed especially for certain blood-types, weight-control, or muscle-building, or to control health conditions such as diabetes, heart and kidney disease.

Catering services for outdoor banquets, refreshments or coffee breaks can be found at www.nccfb.catering.

Nice advertorial, including a link to the company website.

I was hoping that as well as pushing all the positive CSR aspects of their food, I would read they use non-plastic, environmentally friendly containers. Unfortunately I can't see anything stating that.

It is a simple question from a non-specialist.

Regardless of the food it is known smooth surfaces can be a source of infection. The imagery is definitely "sterile" in appearance which I guess is the intention. After all this business is presenting take out food, not a plush sit down venue.

I am guessing this is an initiative by one business that previously supplied the Airline Industry.

I fly business-snob class and the food was/is nothing like this lot.

Your avatar says 'pensive member' which means you think about things. Doesn't seem you thought about this reply.

Let's get back to the topic ie Covid via Food. The only way it can be transferred that way is if someone with the virus touched, coughed or spit on the food. It's in another current topic so not just me, so you get back to your keyboard, OK.

Is there any suggestion that this promo is intended for you?

I think it is a practical approach to a market that if is successful will continue employment .

Is there any cause  to  object?

Japanese copy recipes in typical Thai plastic containers, it's hardly special and as for new, that's debatable.

If you're going to copy another countries food [bento] at least go one step better with the presentation package...
