Cancelling my internet in Pattaya

Featured Replies

I have internet and cable with True and I am in Australia,so not in a position to walk into their shop and put on hold or cancel.I have not been there for 3 months and they have already cut the connection as I got my GF to go into my condo and check for me.I have been with them for about 2 yrs now

They used my Credit Card without authorisation as they had my details from it because I would occasionaly pay at the shop with it,so all of a sudden I had a 2000 baht recurring fee taken out of  my account,so I have cancelled the Card to put a stop to that

My GF has been in touch with them, and they said they can put on hold for 150baht a month, but in order to do this,i need to make my GF a Power of Attorney and also she needs a copy of my passport,so they are making it really easy...Not!

Since they cannot take anymore money out, would anything happen,if I just ignored them completely and when I finally return to Pattaya, just go with another company?although I still have their modems for cable and internet which no doubt I am supposed to return to them.

Would they be chasing me for the unpaid fees and the modems? Any advice appreciated

Inform them you are cancelling and no longer require the service. That way there should be no future issues.

I do not understand the fees they have taken if as you say it has been disconnected?
