He's probably got more black friends then you or I have 1000 times over!

I don't see them jumpin ship!

Yet the only black republican senator is also condemning him. He might not be jumping ship but he sees this as offensive too. So your no choice reply was B.S.  as you don't want to condemn him either.

He might have more black friends that is possible. I don't know how well he is really liked and how many friends he has. I don't have many so is an easy bet.

Trump put it on Twitter. There was no "media" involved. That's the beauty of Trump: He will destroy himself. And hopefully he will do that before he destroys America.

All the 'defense' im seeing is the truthful one where its clear as day the golf cart guy is mocking the protesters who are shouting the same ole song and dance garbage at him.

As usual the "defense" includes denying any possibility of Trump doing anything wrong, then switching to some version of he was joking/trolling/mocking/didn't know, and will finally settle down on the "so what?" slot. Other than, there's the usual running interference bits - Some bogus claims about Obama, an irrelevant and unverifiable anecdote or two, inane complaints about MSM when it's a post put up by Trump. And so on and so forth.

Even if one accepted your version, what's the added value of the President's post? I mean other than the "boiling" and "steering" you denied earlier?

You probably have no idea how many friends Trump have. You probably don't know how many of them are black. You probably don't know if any of them improbable friends jumped ship.

And this got nothing whatsoever to do with the topic. Sort of how Trump rolls. Faced with an issue or with criticism, he'll generate some nonsense in an attempt to divert attention.

Saw this today, how sad....????

But you are sure it’s not just another unrelated photo that your alt-right troll factories have doctored like they did with the Christmas video when the enemy was still the Muslim? Falk about brainwashing being alive and well ????

Florida man retweets racist Florida man. Somehow just so symmetrical.

Interesting that the first defense was that "the president didn't watch the video". The "White Power" chant is six seconds in.

Then the tweet was removed.

While heinous, and revealing of the true nature of the president, it's still not enough to distract from the Putin/Bounty-gate debacle.

Not sure that golfing with lindsey is a good look during a pandemic? But maybe they can come up with something else in the way of a cover-up, distraction or deflection?

Its Putin again, yeh can't make this up

Just for the record, the Jimi Hendrix statue was vandalized in 2013.

Thanks for that.

Interesting that people post these silly, pathetic, racist, flawed memes.

I'm fairly confident Mr. Hendrix would be marching in the streets, in Seattle, for racial justice if he were still alive.

Amazing how clueless people are.

By the way I have no affiliation to either side I am just a passive observer.

I think you have got that wrong. No one is trying to make President Trump look like a devil. He is doing that job very well on his own. Anyone retweating a "White Power" message as President is just looking for trouble!

It is not true that the media are "owned" by the Democrats (that is what you mean by "one side"?) - I wonder if you have ever heard of Fox News and it affiliates - perhaps you ought to be a little less passive and read a little.

Watching the UK football yesterday I see many of the black players doing the knee pantomime and also the black power salute.

So we can have black power but not white power and black lives matter but not white lives matter.

Ok, it’s becoming clearer now.

Right of centre propaganda. 'White Power' usually symbolises racism, whereas the 'black power' salute is usually accepted as symbolising the rejection of racism / oppression of coloured people.

You called the POTUS racist in one of your posts or something like he is , right!

I think by the POTUS actions through executive orders example the creation of oppuntunity centers ,the first step act  and his large contingent of minority support since he's been in office and even before when he was a private citizen knocks this racist nonsense out of the park !

Wonder how many of the super informed posters on here will actually watch the video before they freak out about it.

My guess will be exactly zero, but they will surely have BIG opinions about it.

Seen it and wonder how the president of the supposed most powerful nation on Earth can possibly think it appropriate to retweet. It was impossible not to hear the words "white power" so he either agreed with or saw nothing wrong with the expression.

Ok, now it’s crystal clear.

White views only matter if they’re black views. ????

The super informed posters saw it already hours before it was published here.

I definitely saw it while it was still on 45's Twitter.

He doesn't do dog whistles to white nationalists anymore.

He does dog sirens.

People still trying to make excuses for this horrible human being and president should realize that he isn't a toddler or a teenager but rather a more than fully grown arsed adult with the nuclear football.

Imagine you should explain to a toddler to behave like a grown up...

45 follows his impulses, as he seems to lack even a modicum of self-control or personal discipline, and that continually sets his acolytes scrambling. They now have it down to a defined set of excuses and explanations, like:

-He didn’t know (this video he re-Tweeted)

-He was joking (Bleach/Lysol, Covid-19 testing)

-Nobody told him (Taliban-Russia)

-He meant “wouldn’t” (Helsinki)

All of these, of course, are of questionable veracity, but what makes it worse is that 45 often gets in the way of his own excuse-makers, as he did last week with what was first described as a ‘joke’ (cut back Covid-19 testing), but later 45 said “I never kid”. Acolytes then have to re-spin what they've already spun.

In any event, even this latest excuse (he didn’t know) is not the least bit comforting, because it says that someone with the theoretical power one has as POTUS doesn’t take the time to properly vet something he is going to send out to the world in his name. The now-deleted Tweet contained a video where, at the very beginning of it, a man in a golf cart, the focal point of the video, raises his fist and yells “White Power” clear as day.

White House spokesman Judd Deere said the president "is a big fan of The Villages. He did not hear the one statement made on the video. What he did see was tremendous enthusiasm from his many supporters."

And that’s the problem isn’t it.

trump does not pay attention, he doesn’t bother with details, he puts no thought into anything he does, he saw a bay of faces yelling that he believed liked him, that stroked his ego, that made him feel good, so he posted it.

No wonder his presidency has been a debacle.

Vice President Mike Pence refused repeated opportunities to say the phrase "Black Lives Matter" on Sunday, telling CBS' "Face the Nation" program: "I really believe that all lives matter and that's where the heart of the American people lies."

Pence added that he views the Black Lives Matter movement as having a "political agenda of the radical left" that calls for cutting off funding for police departments and tearing down monuments.

Come on Pence this was your opportunity to say it like it is! You could of mentioned the ideology of that movements founders !

The protests spread to over 2,000 cities and towns in all 50 states and all 5 permanently-inhabited territories, as well as in over 60 other countries, with demonstrators supporting those seeking justice for Floyd and the wider Black Lives Matter movement, and speaking out against police brutality.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_George_Floyd_protests_in_the_United_States#:~:text=The protests spread to over, speaking out against police brutality.

These protests  in many cities and towns resulted in riots  with shootings ,looting's  and burning of black and white businesses . Last but not least the destruction of many cultural monuments of American presidents!

the guy is a lost case, if he got 5 cents of a brain he should resign/quit, like the other Republican did, he still has a little more than 1 month to make the right decision (On 9 August 1974, Richard M. Nixon resigned the presidency of the United States) or he will be remembered as being the biggest loser in US presidential elections..... Biden is in for a winning by land slide

correct and one has to wonder what's on the Republicans state of mind to keep supporting that loony

Trump does this to himself. He shoots himself in the foot daily. He just cannot help it. His blind hatred, and his divisiveness compels him to behave in an ignorant manner.

Now, after all of the social unrest, and with a vast majority of Americans being supportive of police and social reform, he is completely out of touch, appears to be a dinosaur and a relic, and is falling out of favor with even his own base. Trump fatigue is setting in, in a big way. He is utterly desperate, and sees the end coming alot faster than he would have liked. Bye, bye Don. Few will miss you.

Just Trump showing his true colours, no one should be in the least bit surprised at this.

Ok, it’s becoming clearer now.

Wheras one is a symbol of a fight for freedom and equal human rights, the other is a symbol of opression!

I'll let you figure out, which one is which and why this actually makes all the difference in the world!

But of course you know that already and...wait...why does it smell like bridgetroll in here???

This will do wonder for his already dismal polls. Another own goal by the clueless Trump. He is such a giving person.

This "goose" wants to be very careful what he asks for.

He will not be the first President that got a lead present to the head or heart
