Lampang: Five meter long python was laying her eggs in a bamboo thicket

Snake catchers were called to an orchard owned by a minor local official in Lampang in northern Thailand after he noticed python eggs.

Nearby in the bamboo thicket was a coiled up python that was 5 meters long.

Wiang Tan area rescue soon had the mother in their clutches and she was returned to nature.

She had laid 21 eggs.
