New policy of Palang Pracharath to focus on local economy

BANGKOK(NNT) - June 30 the Palang Pracharath Party is to hold its first meeting with a new team of executives. The meeting will consider a selection of candidates for the deputy leader’s post and discuss changes to the party’s economic policy, with the aim of improving people’s quality of life. However, the ruling party has no plans to change its economic team at this time.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan, in his capacity as Palang Pracharath leader, said today that the meeting will consider nine candidates for the deputy leader’s post, adding that each is from a different part of the political spectrum.

The meeting will also find a new party spokesperson. The party’s policy is being drafted. It will focus on addressing problems in the local economy and reaching the people.

Gen. Prawit said Palang Pracharath’s treasurer Narumon Pinyosinwat is one of the members of the policy drafting team. She won’t head the government’s economic team, and she will not replace the Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, as suggested in previous reports.

Meanwhile, the party has not considered the roles of former Palang Pracharath leader Uttama Savanayana or former Palang Pracharath secretary-general Sontirat Sontijirawong.

Mr. Sontirat said he accepted the changes within his party, as long as it helps strengthen the government and tackle problems in the country. Mr. Sontirat said he will continue performing his duties well and offered his support to the newly-appointed Palang Pracharath secretary-general, Anucha Nakasai.

Mr. Sontirat said he will continue supporting Palang Pracharath’s work, adding that he has not made a decision on his political future, including setting up a new political party. He said Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, hasn’t signaled that a cabinet reshuffle is imminent.

How come Dozy in the middle (of narcoleptic fame) has a bigger ID than everyone else?

Is it linked to his girth or his perceived self-importance?

At least he has his name badge on for the first day at school

How more devastated could it be? And where will they get the money to soften the hit from? Their controllers?

A good start would be to stimulate the bellies of many and the economy inn general. Pay everybody 10,000 baht whether they are unemployed or not. Many of the employed will donate to charitable needs.  Some may reject it and not collect. Many will spend it, which will stimulate. Many will stick it into their bank account, which will provide funds for car, motorcycle and house loans. (It'll also drive down the baht and help the export market and improve the exchange rate for us foreigners)

Many will at least know they will have food for a few more months.
