Just been to cheang wattana  a few days ago to apply for yearly extension based on marriage.....all well...application accepted and passport stamped to pick up results on July 27th.....the government just announced holiday from 25th to 28th .....my question is : 

will immigration allow me to pick up results on the 24th before they close or do I have wait until they reopen on the 29th? I'm kinda pinched for time if have to wait till 29th ...????

Just phone them and ask? 

I did ....I was on hold for over 30 minutes .....I have things to do today  so I figured just ask on here as maybe someone has some experience with this kind of situation.....????

You could go on the 24th and it will probably be approved by then.

I just extended my entry of stay based on marriage.

 

Passport was provisionally stamped Friday 19th June. Notification hadn't arrived in Samui on that day. Called immigration and they said just come on Monday.

 

Called again on 22nd June (overdue by now) and collected my new stamp without issue. Can't speak for other provinces, but fine in Samui to do this at the moment.

They are usually very relaxed about the pick-up date... not sure about CW though.

 

I've been early and I've been late, never a problem.

 

 

Update .....I did finally get through....they said to get on 29th ????
