Requesting 60 day extension whilst on amesty

Featured Replies

Keep seeing the mention of the 60 day extension (family), curious whether this can be done whilst on amnesty, considering the prior visa or exempt would have expired already.

So your married and/or parent Thai?

You can obtain extension 60 day to visit family if you have not done so already.

You need do that on or before July 31

Previously Non Im, flew in on a visa exempt as embassies closed, renewed, since expired and on the amnesty.

Currently doing renovations, ideally can stay, have matured funds (2yrs) for renewal, can also do investor visa but too much mucking around.

Ideally *unsure* can obtain 60-day visa 60-day Extension to Visit Thai Family - unsure if true.

I'm in the same situation, I guess we will have to wait a couple more days for announcements about amnesty extension or other solutions from government, then go check at local immigration office.
