Where buy used cage for cat

Featured Replies

A friend in Pathum Thani wants to buy used cage to keep cat and kitten at night, so males and mosquitoes don't get to them. Anyone where she can get one? Thanks.

just go the pet shop and buy a new one .... why do folks always look for second hand on things so trivial and cheap.

Yeah. It's always 'a friend' who is asking, right? ????

Not sure if he still needs it

Rangsit Market has a couple of places doing mozzie-proof animal cages (our two Chihuahuas have one). The pet section behind the Esso station is the place to look.

With the prices as they are and the risk of there being a latent disease in the cage it's really not worth going used.

Thank you for that. She is looking for used because she bought the (big) original one for 1,800 baht and now needs up to three more to separate the cats, and only for two months until they can be spayed. And she had just spent 5,000 baht for vet bills for kitten that died. But I will relay your warning about latent disease.

If it's only for a short time a couple of the regular plastic "pet carriers" (easily cleaned and cheap) and a cheap mozzie net draped over at night could be a low cost and safe solution.

OK we have dogs not cats, but they don't seem bothered by mozzies and we don't shut the cage door at night now (we did when they were babies), they like to patrol their domain and protect us from intruders (yes, they are Chihuahuas).
