Retirement Visa advice + Visa Agent recommendations

Featured Replies

I've been in correspondence with a visa agency about applying for a 90-day non immigrant O visa to be followed by the 1-year retirement visa.

They just sent a message saying this service may no longer be possible under the new amnesty.

Does anyone here know if the pre and post July 31 situation has changed regarding these visas/extensions?

Also, any recommendations for a visa agency (preferably in Bangkok) would be appreciated.

(Personal details: 65 years old, entered Thailand with a Hong Kong-issued APEC card on March 6.)

You don't need an agent.

Just go and ask at Immigration. They don't bite and will tell you all you need to know.

There is no changes to the current amnesty period. It is a extension of the same ministerial notice.

Not sure how they were going to do it with a entry from a APEC card unless the are considering it as a 90 day visa exempt entry.
