Student Visa 3 months since september

Featured Replies

Hello, I have the visa until the 26th of september, and I would like to be here until mid december, so this time I will not wait until the last minute. I would like an student visa for 3 months, I want to study thai language, it's not much time but it would be an start. I found in google some option to study thai 3 months for 18.000 bahts, and then I know that I will have to pay an extra to get the student visa within the country. Any recommendation? By the way, I read some news about some eases about the student visa, will it be possible to get the student visa inside Thailand legally?

What visa do you have until 26 September?

To study Thai, I doubt you will get a visa for just 3 months.  Most language schools require you to study minimum 12 months to obtain an ED visa.

I have a tourist visa, I read that you can apply for the student visa studying for 3 months or longer.

If I can't, I will be again in the agent market.

You don't need a ED Visa to study Thai you can study it on any visa

You just need to find a language school and choose the lessons you want

However if you want to stay until December you will need another kind of visa unless they extend the current amnesty until then - you can apply for a ED Visa but it will be  expensive just for 3 months

September 26 is the end of the visa amnesty. A coincidence?
