INN reported that Thong Lo police were called after a man grabbed a one baht weight gold necklace from a woman's neck and ran off.

The incident happened at a block of flats in Sukhumvit Soi 42.

A man aged about 20 wearing a pink sports shirt and black pants but no shoes ran off in the direction of the Ekamai BTS.

Now in the Klong Tan police jurisdiction the area was sealed off as a search began, said INN.

The media reported in their headline that the price of gold was now high and that wearers of gold should beware.

The price of gold today is about 29,300 baht per baht weight (just over 15 grams), thousands of baht up on pre-pandemic prices, notes Thaivisa. Gold was trading under 23,000 baht in January.

that's sad.... all of it is the Chinese's fault, they gave us the virus, then the virus created drastic despair situations,  which led to drastic out of despair actions... there you have it, simple as 1+1 =2

Desperate times.

Be careful with wearing anything valuable in public. And it will get worse.

And it is my prediction that it will get worse, before it can get better, even in Thailand. Expect more of this in the future, as more and more people are desperate to survive, having lost their jobs.

Robberies and muggings have always been a problem in low season, not far from me there is a stretch of road that was famous for people getting kicked of their bikes at night and being robbed, This situation makes things worse

Good job car doors lock automatically Im always on at my wife Check everything
