Hi all the school i teach at told me on tuesday that

the amnesty has been extended has it been officially

announced as i haven't seen anything,

The cabinet approved the extension of the ministerial notice on Tuesday to September 26th.

No announcement from immigration about it yet.

On Tuesday the cabinet decided to grant an extension until 26th September, this decision can be found here under point 5 (it's in Thai, click on the Thai flag if you just see an empty page): https://www.thaigov.go.th/news/contents/details/33560

This now needs to be published in the Royal Gazette, which has not happened yet, but this is just a formality. After it's published in the Royal Gazette it's legally binding.
