multi entry b-visa???

Featured Replies

I have a multi entry b-visa and work permit.

I went on the first amnesty because I could not do border run.

What are my options with this second amnesty?

I do not want to fly back to Belgium because the corona is coming back and I have to stay in quarantine for 14 days and then I do not know if I can come back.

And if I can come back I might have to do an expensive quarantine in Thailand.

Get a one year extension

A one year extension might be an option if you and your employer can qualify.

A general list of what is required is here by clicking number one. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?p=14714

I already asked my accountant and she told me that I could do it but now she doesn't answer me.

Is there no other option?

Can I not extend my visa in immigration?

Thank you.

Immigration cannot extend the validity period of your multiple-entry non-B visa, ie the period during which this visa is valid for entry into Thailand.

Anyway, what you need is an extension of your current period of permission to stay. For this, please be guided by the information provided in the post of Ubonjoe above.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

If your accountant cannot help, and any of the conditions specified in the link provided by @ubonjoe cannot be satisfied, your best bet will be to contact an immigration lawyer. Usually, they can sort something out, but it will not be cheap.

Its possible to backdate extra SSO payment for workers, but you'd probably need a contact at immigration...

Got a quote for expanding from 2 to 4 workers from my lawyer, but for me its too many "moving parts" and too much a cost when all previous business is gone with the virus.

Could send you further details on PM if that is of any help ????
