i have just been offered work in thailand, but i am on a non imm o visa (retirement) i believe i need to get a b visa out of country then i can get a work visa is this correct.

with this covid and flight bans is there any other way of doing it in thailand

If you could a apply for a work permit (about impossible) and you are on a extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon retirement you could change to one based upon working.

About the same to apply for an extension based upon working if your are actually on a 90 day entry from a non-o visa.
