Final Cabinet list ‘being checked’, no police role for Prawit

The prime minister revealed today that the final list of ministers for his new Cabinet was being checked, but confirmed that Deputy PM Prawit Wongsuwan will not take his place in overseeing the Royal Thai Police.

 

PM General Prayut Chan-o-cha said on Friday (July 31) the new Cabinet list would be scrutinised before being proposed to HM the King. The ministerial reshuffle follows months of reported infighting between factions of the ruling Phalang Pracharat Party which saw the Cabinet economics team resign.

 

Prayut also said he would monitor the incoming economics team, tasked with steering the Thai economy out of the virus crisis, but did not say whether he would still head the team.

 

He added that Prawit, who recently became leader of Phalang Pracharat, was already too busy to take responsibility for the police force.

 

Asked who will replace outgoing government spokesperson Narumon Pinyosinwat after her resignation, the prime minister answered that the matter had yet to be considered.

You have to wonder if the rumors of Prawits family involvement with the Red Bull "Boss" dismissal case has some grounds to it. It seems like everytime Prawit does something with the police, like big Joke, he ends up being moved aside for a while.  I can see why Prayuth keeps him close as the old saying goes " Keep your Friends close but your enemies closer.

So if Ole Prawit is not overseeing the police, what will he be doing besides sleeping?

Over seeing the geriatrics care home maybe.????

setting the time on his 365 watches as his collection surely has grown since he was found not guilty by reason of well.....stuffed brown envelopes

was already too busy maintaining/keeping Red Bull donations cover up out of the public and  media eyes/hears

No role for rolly pom pom from uncle time to tether the old boy to a tree and present him with a much earned gold watch????

Looking after jewelry stores so they cant be robbed or financial advisor to his crooked mates in Government on how to move money offshore ????

But Deputy PM Prawit Wongsuwan is open to offers for that position as he could squeeze that role in between having lunch and afternoon tea !

Nobody has for years; they are a law unto themselves.  Under Prawit's WATCH they have plumbed new depths.

Prawit does what he wants when he wants. If he wants Prayuth to do something Prayuth will do it. Prawit is the power not Prayuth.

So basically Khun Prayut has spoken. In other words he want's him out.

Err... Isn't it the calculations for decision making done by the Privy council? Your idol is only a mouth piece and toad boy is actually his senior. Sounds to reason is that they all want Toad boy to be distanced from the Red Bull diabolical conundrum of debauchery. None of them are even close to be saints.

Prawit could be finance minister. He's great with borrowed wealth management.
