...according to someone high-up at HDY immigration. They said they got a document 2 days ago saying the only extensions that can be given to people on tourist visas are for medical/embassy letter reasons. Immigration hotline had previously said it would be at the discretion of each office. Could be a misinterpretation, but that's what we were told. 

 

If anyone has had a better experience of getting the 60 day, or converting to Non-0, from tourist visa/amnesty, please speak up.

Before somebody starts a new topic, with the name of a real immigration office, please note this:

 

Clause 2.248 of the Police Order 327/2557 (2014) and Immigration Bureau Order 138-2557 (2014) has not been rescinded or modified and remains valid.
