webfact
Chachoengsao police on the lookout for armed drug addict By The Nation A hunt is on for an armed drug addict who gave police the slip and disappeared in a rubber tree plantation in Chachoengsao province early on Monday. Anon Sansin, a 45-year-old Chonburi resident, reportedly has lost his mental balance due to drug usage and allegedly grabbed a gun after raiding a house on Saturday. He fled the province and went to stay with his daughter in Chachoengsao province on Sunday but the locals were afraid of him, as he was always holding a gun while appearing to be hallucinated. The police were later contacted to deal with him and they confined him to a house near a rubber plantation. Around 12.30am, police noticed that the house was too quiet and when they went inside to check, he was missing. Neighbouring residents were warned of the situation and police were to begin a manhunt on Monday to find Anon.
