A police guard was hit over the head with prisoners' shackles as four men in a murder case escaped from Krabi central court in the south of Thailand.

They ran from a holding cell out through the front door of the court but were soon recaptured by police and court security personnel.

Pol Sen Sgt-Maj Widut Rattanapramote was taken to hospital with a head wound.

The men were named as Kittipong, Atsadawut, Rungroj and Kamchai.

They were due to appear in court for a hearing with witnesses in attendance.

They were all involved in the murder of a man outside a mosque in Sai Khao sub-district of Klong Tom district on 15th March 2020.

After the murder, three were arrested but Atsadawut managed to flee and later shot himself in the hand during a shootout with police, reported Sanook.

I would say that man is going to fit like a perfect contribution to the gene pool.

Looks like one officer has his knee on the man's neck.  Is that allowed these days ?
