Racial horror ‘Lovecraft Country’ stars Jonathan Majors as Atticus Black, a man who goes searching for his missing father ( Sky )

As a long-haired undergraduate at Cornell University in upstate New York, writer Matt Ruff loved to unwind by taking leisurely walks in the wilderness.

He’d ramble off campus, through woods and scrubland.

Occasionally, a pick-up truck would cruise by.

There would be a gun-rack in the front, a few big dogs in the back.

I enjoyed it.

Started off slow and a bit too 'ethnic' for me.

But by the end of the episode it was well into monsters eating people and spraying blood.

Lovecraft on Thai Visa, now I've seen everything.

Agree with Britman. It has potential though. I hope they keep to the facts regarding their race issues / history. I had no idea of a "sundown town", so good way to educate people.
