goin to phnom penn first time this sunday can anybody give me any information on how many days to process a 60 day tourist visa and which is the best way to go about it and any info on good and cheap guesthouses in phnom penn i would be very greatfull for any info cheers.

Not many people have done a Tourist Visa in PP , it is one of the worst places for Visa Application.

I can only confirm that they require 3 days for processing and I recommend that you might use a Visa agent which are in nearly all Hotels. This will avoid that you have to deal directly with the rude Staff at the Embassy.

Hey OP, I used to use an agent in PP, then I was told that they no longer do the service due to pressure from the embassy, so I'd scrap that idea. Hopping on a moto and going to embassy yourself is no problemo. I did that with ease. In fact, you are much better off going there in person so that if they have some problem with your app, they can talk to you directly rather than simply rejecting it. Cambo is NOT the place to use an agent anymore. The last time I went, they took me aside and showed me a printout of 15 straight months of staying in Thailand on tourist visas. They then coached me on how to get a Non O visa. They were NOT rude. Don;t believe all you read from people with NO 1st hand experience

The people posting here are reporting first hand experience for the most part. Just because your experience may have been different at a different time does not make there reports any less valid. From what I have read from these reports, and I read them all, would not make me anxious to use the visa services of that Embassy and do not believe they are anxious to provide visa services to third country nationals.
