ChrisParis75
Hello, I have a visa non O multiple (based on being father of a thai child). Not married. Not retired. I managed to return to Thailand mid august, via a repatriation flight. And immigration gave me 3 months stamp, as usual. Provided that : -the "amnesty" ends september 26. -i'am not married -i do not have 800 000 in bank -i have to leave Thailand before november 20. ... if at this date, borders are still closed, do i have any options ? Or do I have to leave the country... and try to come back after (with all the CoE, quarantine, ASQ circus) ? Am I missing something, another solution ? Thanks for your help. ubonjoe
You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your child. They would have to be with you when you apply. You will need their birth certificate and a copy of it and their house book registry. If you are the legal father of your child by way of marriage or legitimization of your parenthood you can apply for a one year extension of stay with 400k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 40k baht income. It is a standard extension for those married to or the parent of a Thai to visit them. It is number 24 here. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?p=14714

Tanoshi
11 minutes ago, ChrisParis75 said: thanks a lot ! That is a 'one' off 60 day extension which will extend your permission of stay until mid Jan 2021. If you want to stay beyond that date, you should apply for the 1 year extension before the end of December 2020, as described by UJ above.
