R. Kelly attacked in Chicago prison by fellow inmate

R. Kelly was reportedly attacked at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre in Chicago by a fellow inmate.

 

The initial story was broken by TMZ, who reported that a frustrated inmate had allegedly begun “punching” Kelly, who was sitting on his bed at the time of the incident.

 

Kelly’s attorney Douglas C. Anton confirmed the attack to Billboard on August 27. “It is unfortunately true,” he said. “Another inmate that had an issue with lockdown, got upset and simply attacked Robert.”

 

Anton said he was told the prison was sent into lockdown because there were R Kelly protestors outside, but could not confirm the legitimacy of the claim.

He's a rapper/singer who had a number of hit songs in the 1990's including 'I believe I can fly', which you may have heard of. Don't know what he's been doing since, or how he ended up in jail lol!

you may have heard his songs, but i never knew who he was. watch the documentary 'surviving r kelly', he's not a very nice person.

What’s your definition of washed-up? 

Prisoners who are there because of "short eyes" (prison term) are held in most contempt by fellow inmates and often number one target for violence. Even murderers and rapists can have a moral sense of a sort... and deal out there own form of justice

Hometown scumbag R Kelly is a piece of dung and pretty much deserves to be beat up in jail every day.  He had a few hits and then took advantage of that to pee on multiple way under 18 ladies and filmed a lot of it yet somehow has been out avoiding charges to stick for many years.  Looks like he best start getting used to this.  He got away with most of it till now.

He makes them up on the spot and is then recorded.

Total BS, perpetrated by a morally bankrupt attorney. It is well known that fellow inmates deplore those who abuse underage girls or boys. Kelly is in for a rough time in the fun house.

Hes got plenty of time to learn now.

R. Kelly is in Federal custody waiting for trial on multiple pedophile charges plus other offenses, he is also wanted by several states on pedo charges. 

Rather than being secretive like Epstein was, R Kelly shot videos and bragged about his exploits openly for decades.  His music labels are accused of complixity in helping to protect him.

 

I'm surprised he has a cellmate as pedos don't survive long in general population.
