September 1, 20205 yr Hi. I am 50 years old. During this Covid-19 period, Is there a way to switch from my Elite Visa to retirement visa, without living the country ?
September 1, 20205 yr PE The Thai Elite PE visa a special category visa that is not a non immigrant or tourist visa. You need a non-o visa to apply for a extension based upon retirement. To apply for a non-o at immigration you have to have a visa exempt or tourist visa. The only way to to it is to leave and re-enter the country. Has your PE visa expired already? Are you on a entry from your visa that is expiring soon?

I have read that they have extended Thai Elite visas for 6 months due the current situation for traveling. Your visa may not be expiring you should check with them about it.

This should be done at CW if already in the country. He could get a new stamp against 1900 Baht fee without leaving the country.

I have already talked with immigration : I have to go there again just before the expiry date so they will cancel my PE visa, and give me the 60 days "Covid" extension. This should be fine. My question : Staying with this 60 days "Covid" extension, can I apply for the O-A retirement visa inside Thailand ?
