I thought I saw somewhere that it only takes an hour or two, but I've been waiting for over 24 hours now for a letter from the US embassy. I got the automated email saying I submitted a request, but still no letter. How long did it take you guys?

For me, 10 minutes, but that was a couple of weeks ago.  Maybe they have lots of requests now and thats why they are slow.
